Straight from 'Surf City Groningen' the Krontjong Devils have been firing a fine piece of instrumental surf music for years. Completely according to the recipe: sun, sea, Southern California, Dick Dale. In 1994, those fresh surf sounds were pressed on real black vinyl for the first time. 'Moovin' with the Krontjong Devils' on Kogar Records has become a collector's
item.
And instrumental music knows no boundaries: the Californian quality label Hillsdale Records released an EP by the Devils in the nineties.
And now in two thousand twenties the LP “Music From The Stars, Volume 1 (a journey through space and time) was released on the German Topsy-Turvy Label. This new LP by the Krontjong Devils is full of proven 70s/80s hits in an instrumental surf jacket. Who would have ever expected “I Feel Love” by Donna Summer, “Cambodia” by Kim Wilde or “Quiero” by Julio Iglesias on the repertoire of the Krontjong Devils?
As it turns out, the K-Devils can be caught for a hole!



Die vierköpfige Band, geboren im Schoß der Kölner Sixtiesszene, mixt viel Garage und als zusätzliche Inkredenzien Soul und Punk, zu einem köstlichen Potpourri der Sinne. Die vier sensiblen Schöngeister (Sixtiesorganist, singender Drummer, Gitarrist, Bassist) teilten die Bühne mit Genregrößen wie „The Morlocks“ und „The Thanes“ und waren schon häufiger im Sonic Ballroom zu Gast.
